Thinking beyond the now

The Post Journal Obituaries

The Post is a supporter of the Downtown Farmer’s Market, along with the Grow Local South Texas movement. About The Post The Post at Lamar Park was established in November of 2015 by Corpus Christi native, James Gonzales and his wife, Susan Gonzales. The next day, The Post publishes their story, and the newspapers hit the streets. Soon, other news companies from different areas start to follow suit and publish the same story. Graham heads to the Supreme Court for the hearing on the case against The Post and The Times. Later on, The Post gets a phone call, and Greenfield answers it. POST-HASTE: Body cam footage of the Ma’Khia Bryant shooting has been released; Doug’s Carryout is hosting fun weekend events. The Residency Program focuses on emerging and early career artists and accepts applicants who offer quality in their art and encourages diversity of style, medium (2-D, 3-D, 4-D), and concept. Click here to learn more.

The Posthumous Works Of Thomas De Quincey

The Woodside Church and chapel are National Historic register buildings. They were commissioned by industrialist and inventor Henry Burden who paid for them with the wealth he had accumulated, in part, by producing almost a million horseshoes a week during the Civil War. The Church was designed by Henry Dudley, a prominent English church architect, and played a significant role in the life of the nineteenth century mill workers. It was, for many, their only social outlet, and formed the center of the neighborhood’s community. It has recorded the births, deaths, marriages, trials and triumphs of Victorian era life. The building has a remarkable pedigree that has garnered it a place of importance in the Gothic Revival movement in American church architecture. Click here to learn more.
