Over the past month, Eastern Kentucky has been heavily impacted by ice storms and flooding. As a result, communities are in need of immediate assistance as they rebuild homes and businesses devastated by these natural disasters. The work ahead will outpace the federal and state funding these communities will receive.
Kentucky’s horse industry is joining this effort by mobilizing volunteers and donations across the industry and the equine community to help our fellow Kentuckians recover from this crisis. This coalition includes KEEP, the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club, the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center, and Kentuckys racetracks.
Volunteers for this effort are desperately needed as families need help with cleaning and repairing their damaged homes. If you would like to join us in this effort, click the “volunteer” or “donate” buttons below. For any questions, contact us at info@horseswork.com.
