Slack brings all your communication together in one place. It’s real-time messaging, archiving and search for modern teams. Once the Zeplin integration is added to your workspace, you can continue the steps below to add styleguides. You can add your styleguide to Slack from the About tab, by pressing the “Add to Slack” button on the right panel. This will redirect you to Slack's.
Connecting Zeplin to Slack helps you and your team stay up to date with notifications about updates and messages in your projects and styleguides. When the Slack integration is enabled for a project or styleguide, Zeplin will automatically send notifications to your Slack channel. When you enable the Slack integration, it pushes all notifications related to your projects and styleguides to the selected channel by default. You can change this setting anytime and select which notifications Zeplin will send to your channel.
☝️ For now, it’s only possible to customize which notifications get sent to your Slack channels from the Web and Windows apps.
Adjusting Slack preferences in a project
From the Web app (https://app.zeplin.io/) and Window apps, go to the right panel in the project’s dashboard and click on the settings icon next to the Slack integration then select “Preferences...”.
This will reveal a panel where you can select what type of notifications get pushed to the Slack channel:
