A scute is an item inspired by real-world scutes (bony plate-like scales commonly found on turtles and other reptiles and birds). Scutes can only be obtained at the moment when a baby turtle grows. The Minecraft Mob Skin, 1.14 Plains Zombie Leatherworker, was posted by Blocks4OneIsFun.

Scutes are items that baby turtles drop when they grow into adults. They can be used to craft turtle shells which can be used to brew the potion of the Turtle Master.
